Week 13 Fantasy PPR Rankings: RB

first_imgWeek 13 Standard Rankings:Quarterback | Running Back | Wide Receiver | Tight End | D/ST | KickerElsewhere, there are a couple of others intriguing backs. Gus Edwards and the Ravens get a terrific matchup against the Falcons, a team that has allowed the most receptions to RBs this season. However, Edwards has no catches so far this season, so something will have to give in that matchup. He’s definitely a guy to watch. Other backs with good matchups include Leonard Fournette or Carlos Hyde/T.J. Yeldon if Fournette is suspended (vs. Colts, 80 catches allowed) and Doug Martin/Jalen Richard (vs. Chiefs, 78 catches allowed). As always, don’t forget that while catches are important in PPR, they aren’t everything. Don’t sit a stud TD threat just to get more exposure in the passing game. Make wise decisions and take into account matchups, TD, and catches to play the best lineup you can.Reminder: Check back for updates throughout the week. And in PPR formats, that boost is often more notable. Few teams have enough depth at RB to replace the starter with a three-down player, so two guys often get called in to play roles as the between-the-tackles back and the pass-catching back. In Week 13, that guy is Austin Ekeler, who will will be the main beneficiary after Melvin Gordon’s knee injury. While Ekeler can run between the tackles, he’s more noted for his pass-catching ability. After all, he had 10 receptions last week in extended playing once Gordon left the game. He and Justin Jackson will have a shot to get more work with Gordon out, but Ekeler is the one who sees his ranking jump into the lteens because of his high-volume upside as a pass catcher.last_img
