GLASGOW MURDER: COPS QUIZ TWO OVER ATTACK ON DONEGAL MAN

first_imgTwo men have been detained for questioning by murder squad detectives in connection with the death of a Donegal man outside his home in Glasgow.William McKeeney, 57, was attacked in Melville Street in the Pollokshields area at about 00:40 on Sunday.He died from his injuries after being taken to Victoria Infirmary. Mr McKeeney, who was originally from Malin Head, was a labourer who had been living in Glasgow for the past five years.His partner Annmarie witnessed the brutal assault.A Strathclyde police spokesman told donegaldaily.com: “Two men were detained earlier today in connection with the death of Mr McKeeney.
