Nokia 9 PureView specs revealed via Android Enterprise listing

first_imgOne of the most anticipated launches at MWC 2019 will be the Nokia 9 PureView flagship from HMD Global. The phone is set to be the world’s first to sport five rear cameras, and this has been leaked multiple times through renders and live images. A new leak about the Nokia 9 PureView comes straight from Google as the company listed the device on its Android Enterprise catalogue and Google Play Console website ahead of launch. The listing (now removed) of the Nokia 9 PureView includes a render that shows of the front of the device. The render reveals the Nokia 9 PureView with symmetrically thin bezels on the top and bottom, keeping true to past renders. The Nokia 9 PureView will offer an 18:9 display with no notch or a hole in the display. For reference, front-facia looks similar to last year’s Nokia 7 Plus. The upcoming flagship will sport a 6-inch QHD+ (2880X1440) display with a PureDisplay screen technology, and the listing has confirmed the screen size. The Android Enterprise listing also mentions 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This is likely the base model of the Nokia 9 PureView and we expect a 6GB RAM variant on offer as well. The Nokia 9 PureView will ship with Android Pie, and will be part of the Android One program. The listing mention support for fingerprint, and based on past renders that show a lack of a physical sensor, this mostly confirms that the Nokia 9 PureView will come with an in-display sensor. The Nokia 9 PureView was also listed on the Google Play Console’s website with Snapdragon 845 chipset, which again keeps in line with past reports. A Snapdragon 855 version of the device is rumoured to be announced later this year. The penta-camera system on the back of the Nokia 9 PureView will offer 5 simultaneous shots and up to 10x more light, suggesting good low-light photography, according to a leaked promo video last month.advertisementHMD is set to announce the Nokia 9 PureView on February 24 at MWC 2019 alongside the rumoured Nokia 6.2. The Nokia 6.2 is tipped to come with a hole-punch display like the Samsung Galaxy A8s and Honor View 20.ALSO READ | Nokia 9 PureView leaked images may not be real, but 5 cameras surely comingALSO READ | Nokia 9 PureView to launch at MWC 2019: Expected price in India, design and specslast_img
