FIRE DAMAGES SOUTH SIOUX CITY BUSINESS

first_imgA FIRE WEDNESDAY EVENING CAUSED MAJOR DAMAGE AT SIOUXLAND TOWING IN SOUTH SIOUX CITY, NEBRASKA.THE FIRE WAS REPORTED SHORTLY BEFORE 5PM AT THE WEST 13TH STREET BUSINESS.FIREFIGHTERS ENDURED FREEZING TEMPERATURES AND STRONG WINDS AS THEY BATTLED THE BLAZE INTO THE EVENING HOURS.THE FACILITY AND SEVERAL VEHICLES SUSTAINED SEVERE FIRE DAMAGE.NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED.TRAFFIC ON HIGHWAY 77 WAS REDUCED TO ONE LANE AND BACKED UP TO THE VETERAN’S BRIDGE.THAT RESULTED IN A CHAIN REACTION ACCIDENT ON THE BRIDGE.THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION.PHOTO BY SOUTH SIOUX POLICElast_img
